The pineapple genie (sonnet poem)

There once was a pineapple

He was a pineapple genie

If it was something you wish he could grant it with a Snapple

But until you meet him, he will simply remain teeny

He has seen many things

Even saw the one that rode the Pineapple tornado

It was a battle like no other in the spectrum of those windy rings

But until that battle comes to an end, he simply waits by his friend, the potato

The potato had been there forever

Pineapple and potato have a pact

Sometimes, they play chess by the river

Someday, they both dream to act

But, the pineapple seeks to live like he had before

He loves it when he meets a new human

Yet, they fear what chaos they shall wish for

To stop them from eating him, he always causes a diversion

One day, he wishes to be free

Free to lay on a beach as he sits by the sea
